You must have held a Full Class 4 NZ Driver Licence for at least 6 months if you are under 25 or 3 months if you are over 25.

Prior to the course:

1. Study the NZ Road Code for both Car and Class 5 at www.drivingtests.co.nz.

2. Go to your doctor and update your Driver's Licence Medical Certificate if it is more than 5 years old.

3. Go to an AA or VTNZ to purchase your Class 5 Learners Licence for $93.90 (no theory test required).  Note: you will need to take your current NZ Driver's Licence and your Driver's Licence Medical Certificate and complete the DL1 Application Form.

4. Locate your Class 2 NZTA Certificate, you may need to obtain a copy from the course provider.

5. Call us to book your course on 0800 571 2299.  Note: you will need to provide the Class 5 vehicle for the practical component of this course.

Class 5 Course: $900.00 Incl.GST

Our Class 5 Course consists of both theory and practical components, which will when successfully completed, give you your FULL Class 5 Livence.  Allow a full day to complete the course.

Present your NZTA Certificate at an AA or VTNZ to add to your Driver's Licence $49.60.
